What makes an award-winning entry?

It all starts with the written application.

To have any chance of success in the BIBAs, entrants must first make it through to the shortlist of finalists, and the quality of the application makes a big difference when it comes to deciding who’s in and who’s out.

The judging panels also assess and score the applications of shortlisted entrants.

Advice from previous judges includes:

– Be concise
– Keep your answers relevant
– Avoid too much flowery language
– Speak from the heart
– Focus on outcomes
– Evidence your claims
