While the serious side of the BIBAs will always lie in the judges training, the interviews and the tour, we do like to have a little fun on the journey.
For many years now – and based on our iconic BIBAs trophy – judges, business owners and their staff have all been encouraged to take part in the “BIBAs bend”.
It’s quite a simple format really, you simply stand up straight and bring one arm up and one arm to your side and lean – although there have been a few variations over the years.
Last year’s BIBAs Bend was a triumph, so much so that everyone who took part saw themselves on the big screen at the awards ceremony at Blackpool Tower Ballroom, with music accompaniment, of course.
