Some BIBAs winners are happy to collect just the one trophy but others love to defend their crowns.
The Senator Group are multiple winners over the years but are always keen for more recognition. Their reasoning: “The reward versus the effort to enter is a no brainer.”
As well as the recognition from their peers, Senator are firm believers in recognising the efforts of their employees and sharing their experiences.
Angela Wales, head of group communications, said: “Although we don’t set out to win awards, we think it’s wonderful when the hard work and dedication of our people are officially recognised. The BIBAs are a wonderful way to do this and the reaction we had to our win in 2023 spurred us on to enter again.
“The application process is clear and logical, and the BIBAs support with helpful resources and tips. Once you start gathering information from around the business, it really brings to light how much positive action there has been in the last 12 months. We felt proud just submitting the entry!
“Hearing your name called out as the winner is akin to winning the lottery – you jump up from your seat in celebration, but then double check the screen that you’ve definitely won! The feeling of elation and pride trickles through the entire business.”
