As the countdown to the 2025 Be Inspired Business Awards (BIBAs) continues, work is underway behind the scenes to bring make it happen for finalists and guests.
Returning to Blackpool Tower Ballroom on 19th September, the BIBAs – organised by the North & Western Lancashire Chamber of Commerce – promises another unforgettable evening for over 1,000 guests.
But what most don’t see is the months of planning, coordination and creativity that go into making it happen.
This year’s BIBAs are proudly supported by a host of sponsors who play a critical role in making the event possible. These include Lancashire County Council as headline sponsor, alongside BAE Systems, FW Capital, Brabners, MHA, University of Lancashire, Turnkey Corporate, CKS Catering, Smooth Radio, and Lancashire Post – among others.
Their backing helps shine a spotlight on the region’s best and brightest businesses while boosting the wider Lancashire economy.
Bringing the BIBAs to Blackpool also relies on an expert team of suppliers and specialists. From staging and lighting to tech and hospitality, the event wouldn’t happen without a dedicated group of professionals behind the scenes.
This includes partners like The Networking People (TNP), who are ensuring seamless connectivity for guests with high-speed WiFi, and Campbell & Rowley, tasked with delivering a world-class dining experience.
“The BIBAs is not just an awards night – it’s the result of a full year’s work, spanning everything from judging logistics to stage production and sponsor collaboration,” said Babs Murphy, Chief Executive of the Chamber. “It’s a celebration of Lancashire’s business excellence, made possible by a huge team of committed professionals and partners.”
The judging process, which has already taken finalists across the county as part of the BIBAs on Tour, has also been a huge logistical operation – giving judges the chance to see businesses in action and ensuring fairness, integrity and depth in decision-making.
“By the time the doors open in September, our team will have worked on every detail for nearly a year,” added Babs. “From the first application to the final trophy presentation, the BIBAs are built on dedication, collaboration and a shared pride in what Lancashire businesses achieve.”
The BIBAs ceremony will take place under Blackpool’s Illuminations, as 20 coveted trophies are handed out – capping off a celebration of resilience, growth, and world-class innovation.
