Emma Birchall, from Jackson Stephen is one from a panel of five judges who will be responsible for judging the first round of interviews and the BIBAs on Tour for Global Business of the Year. Looking at what she’s hoping to see from candidates, Emma said: “ I am looking forward to finding out more about the entrants in terms of both their development overseas and how they have adapted their businesses to manage the impact of exporting.
“Sustainability and green initiatives are becoming of more and more interest. As part of my review of the entrants’ applications I will be looking for examples of how the business is working towards reducing their carbon footprint.”
