At the BIBAs, the excitement doesn’t end until the final award is presented. The Lancastrian of the Year is a prestigious accolade chosen by a select panel of former winners, honouring an individual who has made an exceptional contribution to Lancashire’s business community.
Babs Murphy, Chief Executive of the North & Western Lancashire Chamber of Commerce, explains: “The Lancastrian of the Year award is about celebrating long-term achievements—recognising individuals who have driven innovation, created jobs, and played a key role in strengthening Lancashire’s economy.”
With nominations submitted from across the county, the responsibility now lies with past winners to select the newest member of this esteemed group. Who will be honoured this year? All will be revealed on BIBAs night.
