When you are selecting the cream of the crop of Lancashire businesses, it’s good to know that you have a select group of superstar judges at hand.
And this year is no exception.
From right across our incredible economic and cultural landscape, the judges for this year’s competition cover every industry and have bags of experience behind them.
They have a tough job ahead of them; from reading through the initial applications to the interview stage – this year sponsored by North End events at Deepdale Stadium – where they get to grill candidates on why they should take home a coveted trophy.
The final – and possibly most interesting stage of the judging process – is the BIBAs bus tour which takes place throughout June and is the final chance for the finalists to shine. It may be a whistlestop tour in a day for each category, but it’s amazing how much extra clout this final event can have before taking home a BIBA or coming so close to glory.
As ever, like the sponsors, the BIBAs are forever grateful for our judges, who have stepped up and taken on the mantle of choosing who they want to be “the one they all want to win.”
