Smooth Radio North West has long been associated with the BIBAs.
This year, it’s again sponsoring the Leisure and Tourism award, in recognition of the crucial role businesses in these sectors play in the Lancashire economy.
Smooth Radio is owned by Communicorp and operated by Global Media and Entertainment, the UK’s largest commercial radio company and home to the biggest names in the business.
The station started life as Jazz FM, but has undergone significant programming changes since then.
It now plays an eclectic mix of music from across the decades and is well known for its Smooth Breakfast show presented by Darren Parks. It can be found on FM and DAB frequencies.
