Prizes galore

For the first time we will be offering cash prizes to some of the winners of The BIBAs.

We will use the profits from our awards ceremony to put money back in to the pockets of Lancashire businesses with cash prizes and investment grants.

The grants will entitle our winners to free training courses delivered by the North & Western Lancashire Chamber of Commerce.

Chamber Chief Executive Babs Murphy said: “The last 12 months has led to a lot of financial hardship among businesses and we have responded to do our part.

“By giving these prizes to our winners, we hope to do our bit to provide some support to them through cash prizes and the opportunity to upskill their people.”

The BIBAs is a completely not-for-profit event with every penny generated by our ceremony going back in to supporting Lancashire.

In previous years we have put all the profits in to the BIBAs Foundation which offers grants to individuals and organisations behind enterprising projects with young people.

The long-term mindset adopted by family businesses makes them well placed to respond to the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, it has been claimed.
