Let’s remind ourselves of the categories up for grabs in this year’s BIBAs

Every year, there are some tweaks to the line-up, sometimes with new categories being added and others removed. It keeps the competition fresh and is our way of responding to the changing business landscape.

This year, the 20 categories are:

Business of the Year
Medium Business of the Year
Small Business of the Year
Micro Business of the Year
Start-up Business of the Year

Service Business of the Year
Manufacturing Business of the Year
Construction Business of the Year
Leisure and Tourism Business of the Year
Digital and Marketing Business of the Year

Professional Business of the Year
Employer of the Year
Scale Up Business of the Year
Innovative Business of the Year
Family Business of the Year

Apprentice Team of the Year
Green Business of the Year
Education Establishment of the Year
Community/Third Sector Business of the Year
Global Business of the Year

That’s quite an array.

The BIBAs is designed to be inclusive of the entire business community, and the categories are intended to reflect this. With so many on offer, it means every business can find one to slot into, regardless of size or sector.

By the end of this week, our judges will have completed the BIBAs On Tour visits and we’ll have winners decided for every category! But it’ll be September before we reveal who they are at our fabulous awards evening in the Blackpool Tower Ballroom. Will you be joining us? Tickets are on sale now, go here to buy yours.
