The winner of The BIBAs’ lifetime achievement award has been selected by a panel of former winners.
The Lancastrian of the Year, the highest honour bestowed on a local business leader, will be handed out at the awards’ ceremony next Friday, September 13.
A group of former winners of the award have been appointed by awards’ organisers, the North & Western Lancashire Chamber of Commerce, to select the winner of the 2019 prize.
In 2018, the winner was the current High Sheriff of Lancashire, Tony Attard, the founder of Burnley-based textiles firm, Panaz.
Other former winners including supermarket boss Edwin Booth, Philip McIvor, the founder of East Lancashire food group, Farmhouse Biscuits, and construction boss, Tim Webber.
