One very special member of Lancashire’s business community will receive our lifetime achievement prize, Lancastrian of the Year, at our awards’ ceremony later this year.
The prize is selected by a special judging panel of former winners and given to someone who has contributed to the county in many ways over a number of years.
At our last awards, following a double win for the company he founded, Donald J Sidebottom, executive chairman of Blackpool-based Glasdon Group, collected the award in front of his peers.
He joins an exclusive club of those receiving this prestigious honour, including Kam Kothia, David Taylor CBE and England rugby legend Sir Bill Beaumont.
