Are you making the most of all the networking opportunities that are part of being involved in the BIBAs?

Networking is essential to growing a successful business. It’s how you meet and build relationships with potential clients, suppliers and future hires.

The BIBAs create a host of networking opportunities, here’s a quick rundown.

1. Our online community. Start by following our socials, especially on LinkedIn. There, you’ll see us regularly talking about and introducing people involved in the BIBAs, from Chamber staff to sponsors, suppliers, and applicants. Use these posts to unearth new connections and invite them into your network. If you’re competing, tag us in when you post BIBAs content and we’ll help to amplify it and bring you to wider attention

2. Our judge’s community. Whether it’s at the Judge’s Training we lay on or during the interviews, connect with your fellow judges on LinkedIn and elsewhere. Suggest a 1-2-1 to explore if there’s scope for a commercial relationship now or in the future, you never know

3. BIBAs Bootcamp. Every year, we host our free BIBAs Bootcamp for those thinking of applying for a shot at glory. This is a great opportunity to meet and connect with other local business professionals as well as Chamber personnel

4. The ceremony in September. Awards night sees more than 1,000 people from Lancashire’s business community coming together under one roof in the sumptuous surroundings of the Blackpool Tower Ballroom. Whether it’s at the bar, your table, or someone else’s table, there are countless opportunities to put faces to names and make new connections

Take advantage of the the BIBAs networking opportunities available and establish new and fruitful relationships.

BIBAs competition has been heating-up - literally - as more applicants get visits from the judges
