“We’ve gone from strength to strength” – reflections from the class of 2024 as this year’s BIBAs edge closer

With just a few weeks till the red carpet is rolled out for this year’s BIBAs, we are reflecting on the class of 2024.

It was a night of inspiring stories, surprises and pride in the Lancashire business community as more than 1,000 of the counties brightest business minds packed into the Blackpool Tower Ballroom.

And in just under a month’s time, we will be doing it all again!

With another 20 awards up for grabs, the Be Inspired Business Awards (BIBAs) never fails to deliver on those magic moments.

In the run up to the awards – which take place on the 19th September – we will be featuring those fantastic organisations who started their journey to the biggest stage of them all – and triumphed.

All the winners from 2024 will be featured as we gear up for the class of 2025 to be announced on the night.

Just keep a look out on our social media channels as we begin with last year’s Business of the Year, Service Care Solutions, to see their reaction and the story behind their success.
Backstage at the BIBAs will be a collection of behind-the-scenes stories about their success, why they entered and how much it means to them to bag an award.

Sponsored by BIBAs headliners, Lancashire County Council, and seen as the ultimate award, Business of the Year was, as ever, one of the toughest categories and after coming up just short in 2023, Service Care Solutions were back and took the accolade.

Paul Bradley, associate director of the Preston-based company, said: “It was massive for us, 20 years of hard work went into this, and we were delighted to win.

“We are extremely proud to win this award. We have never dropped our standards, and we believe in doing the best work we can, even through the tougher times. We have continued to invest in the business; to recruit and we have gone from strength to strength, and we have not stopped from there.

“The BIBAs process has been great and it’s an honour to have just been nominated and to win it is something we are very proud of.”
