The BIBAs is hitting the road!
The search for “the one they all want to win” is well underway, as the BIBAs on Tour returns for another exciting year of celebrating Lancashire’s business excellence.
Throughout June, you might spot the iconic black BIBAs-branded bus making its way across the county — from Lancaster to Leyland, St Annes to Skelmersdale, and everywhere in between — as the judges set out to meet the businesses behind this year’s standout success stories.
Each weekday, judging panels will visit finalist businesses on their home turf, giving teams the chance to showcase their innovation, impact, and people-powered performance.
From dynamic start-ups to long-established industry leaders, the tour brings the BIBAs judging process to life, offering a unique behind-the-scenes look at what makes Lancashire’s businesses truly exceptional.
The BIBAs on Tour is a key part of the rigorous judging process — designed not just to assess, but to celebrate the culture, commitment, and creativity that power our local economy.
Babs Murphy, chief executive of the North & Western Lancashire Chamber of Commerce, which organises the BIBAs, said:
“The BIBAs on Tour gives us a rare and valuable opportunity to step inside the businesses that are shaping Lancashire’s future.
“It’s a powerful reminder of the drive, resilience, and entrepreneurial spirit that defines this county.
“We’re incredibly proud to champion our finalists and to see, first-hand, the people and ideas behind their success.”
Whether it’s a manufacturing powerhouse in Burnley or a high-growth tech firm in Broughton, each stop on the tour highlights just how vibrant and diverse Lancashire’s business community truly is.
Stay tuned as the journey continues — and follow the tour across social media for a glimpse at the stories, teams, and talent driving this year’s BIBAs forward.
