BIBAs competition heats up for summer months

The BIBAs, Lancashire’s premier business awards – much like the weather – is heating up!

With one of the biggest ever years for applications, all 20 categories are ready for the next stages of competition.

The BIBAs is open to all businesses across Lancashire and 2026 has seen a whole new raft of applicants, as well as those hoping to regain their crown from recent years, or retain it for another year.

This year applications have shown how diverse the county’s economic landscape is, setting up a thrilling competition for the judges to find out who is in one for “the one they all want to win”.

Interviews are just around the corner and the BIBAs on Tour follows with a shortlist of businesses for any sponsor of the awards to be proud of.

And this year, we are delighted to have the support of some of the biggest names in Lancashire backing the Be Inspired Business Awards 2026.

Some of the names involved in the biggest business night of the year include BAE Systems, Team Leyland International, Brabners LLP, Intersys-Micronics and North End Events.

Other categories are backed by the likes of CKS Catering, Sustainable Energy First , Smooth Radio, Delta Care, MHA, Lancashire Post and ours hosts for Judges Training and Interviews, North End Events.

With a wealth of experience and knowledge behind them, the sponsors of this year’s BIBAs are backing the cream of the crop in Lancashire and showcasing the talent right here on the county’s doorstep.
