We’ve done the sift, and trained the judges, so what next?

When you apply to the BIBAs, the first thing we do is check your application to make sure it meets our mininum requirements.

We also check to make sure you’re entered in the most appropriate category.

After that, it’s over to our trained judges.

The judges first score your application and, if you’ve made the cut, you’ll go through to interview. There, the judges will dig deeper with probing questions, looking for evidence that supports your application. They receive training on how to do this, and do it independently in order to avoid any bias and make sure only the truly deserving go on to win.

And so that’s what’s next. Applications are now with the judges to scrutinise and score. If you’ve made it through to the interview round, you’ll hear from us on 30th May!
