Lancashire’s small businesses bring energy, resilience and originality to the county’s economy.
And that is exactly what makes the Small Business of the Year category at the Be Inspired Business Awards (BIBAs) such a compelling category.
The award celebrates the innovation, growth and contribution of Lancashire’s small businesses, from family-run firms and independent retailers to ambitious start-ups and specialist service providers.
As a sponsor, CKS Catering is helping shine a light on the businesses that keep communities moving, create employment, serve customers in new ways and help shape Lancashire’s future growth.
For the Blackpool-based business, the diversity of the category is what makes it especially exciting, with each finalist bringing a different story of enterprise, resilience and local impact.
Dawn Cheetham, managing director of CKS Catering Ltd, said: “SMEs continue to thrive in the county. They are the backbone of the Lancashire economy, able to adapt, respond and react to the ever changing consumer and economic climate.
“Recognising their achievements through the BIBAs is essential, and we are proud to be part of that celebration. For some finalists, this year will be a continuation of a journey they have been on before but for some, this will be the first time they have entered.
“This category has such diversity and inspirational stories which they have shared during every part of their BIBAs journey.”
