While the BIBAs class of 2026 open their inboxes to see whether they have made the tour stage, judges say the level this year has been amazing.
With 20 categories up for grabs, the candidates were put through their paces last week during a busy interview stage.
A full day of grilling candidates led to many judges saying some categories were too close to call with the level of business “outstanding”, “incredible” and “superb” amongst other superlatives!
Candidates and judges were put at ease in the excellent surroundings of sponsors North End Events who laid on all they needed throughout the day.
All corners of Lancashire were represented with the county’s richly diverse cross sectors impressing judging panels which were made up of some of the most experienced business minds.
Hours of pouring over application forms allowed the judges to quiz the candidates on how their business has fared and will continue to grow in the coming years.
This is round one of the interview process and has given the BIBAs judges much to ponder as they prepare to take to the road next month.
There is still all to play for as the judges take a few weeks off before BIBAs on Tour starts on 1st June and runs throughout the month.
