The countdown to creating the BIBAs class of 2026 continues.
And next week attention turns to one of its most important dates as 100 judges gather for their training day.
Hosted by the team at North End Events, who are also sponsors of this year’s interview stage, the session will cover everything from scoring criteria and judging protocols, to what makes the BIBAs such a respected and rigorous awards process.
This is about ensuring consistency, fairness and quality. The BIBAs are known for raising the bar and that starts on 29th April, with the judges.
This training isn’t just a formality, it’s about protecting the integrity and credibility of Lancashire’s most prestigious business awards.
Under expert guidance, the judges will be briefed on what to look for in the applications, what sets out one business from another at the interview stage next month and the BIBAs on Tour during June when a final decision will be made for “the one they all want to win”.
With the energy building and the stage set for interviews on 14th May, judges training is more than a briefing, it’s when the BIBAs journey really gets going.
