Small businesses are often celebrated for their resilience and bringing something unique to Lancashire’s diverse economic landscape.
They are also the backbone of Lancashire’s diverse economy.
For the Be Inspired Business Awards (BIBAs) judges it is often the most sought-after and toughest category to call.
This category celebrates the innovation, resilience and growth of Lancashire’s small enterprises, which account for over 90% of businesses in the county.
From family-run shops to creative and technological organisations, the BIBAs recognise the outstanding contributions these businesses make to the region’s economic and social fabric.
Businesses interested in entering the Small Business of the Year category are encouraged to submit applications that highlight their growth, innovation, and contributions to the local economy.
Previous winners have reported increased visibility, stronger customer trust, and new business opportunities following their success at the awards.
Entries are open until 27th March, and shortlisted candidates will progress to the interview stages, including an on-site visit by judges and culminating in the prestigious awards ceremony at Blackpool Tower Ballroom on 18th September.
