Applications are flooding in for the Be Inspired Business Awards (BIBAs) 2026!
And Lancashire businesses have officially started their journey which could lead them to the bright lights of Blackpool.
The BIBAs application process encourages businesses to take a step back and reflect on who they are, how far they’ve come, and what makes them stand out in the crowd.
From company origins and milestones to values, challenges and ambitions, the application is designed to help organisations tell their story in a bid for BIBAs glory.
With 20 categories up for grabs, the BIBAs covers every size of business from Lancashire’s diverse economic landscape.
From start to scale-up and low carbon to leisure, the judges are on the look out for that unique organisation which can go the distance; from application to interviews to the BIBAs on Tour and arrive in Blackpool on 18th September.
Babs Murphy, chief executive of the North & Western Lancashire Chamber of Commerce, which organises the event, said: “The application process allows entrants to work at their own pace, with the flexibility to save progress and return as often as needed.
“This ensures businesses of all sizes, from established organisations to smaller, bespoke enterprises, can give their entry the attention it deserves.
“A strong application can open the door to far more than awards recognition. For many, the process itself helps sharpen messaging, reaffirm purpose, and build confidence.
“I would urge all businesses who have thought about entering the BIBAs just to go for it, as you never know where it might lead.”
