“A truly positive experience” – a winners story

Every business faces a challenge and the BIBAs sets them new ones – and sometimes they pay off.

Just ask the 2024 winner of New Business of the Year, HSE Advice, who’s approach to the competition meant they went a step ahead of the year before, when they were a finalist.

Ashley Walker, director of the Lancaster-based company, said: “We entered in 2023 and were a finalist for New Business. We immediately wanted to apply again for the category as we learnt from the last process in what we needed to work on in both the application and our business goals / achievements for the next year.

“It has taught us to look at the future with our goals and objectives along with ensuring our values are aligned as a team and to regularly monitor our goals and learn from customer feedback.

“Being part of the BIBAs creates a truly positive experience which the team felt part of that achievement. We have started working with another winner of last year’s BIBAs in their compliance which is all we could ask for as a growing business.”
