Dr Caroline Chesworth, winner of the Business Woman of the Year category at the BIBAs 2013.
“Three gruelling rounds of selection and interviews,” was how Dr Caroline Chesworth described the judging process which took her in to the limelight at the BIBAs in 2013.
Yet, the smile on the face of the founder of Mad Science North West, the regional franchise of an international business which provides interactive science sessions for young people, showed it was worth it.
Speaking after receiving her trophy from category sponsors UCLan, Caroline said: “Our team were thrilled to have their achievements recognised in this way, especially given the high calibre of the hundreds of other businesses who had entered the competition.
“We were commended for the scale and reach of their business and the determination to put a vision of inspiring future scientists into action.”
The BIBAs experience was so special for Caroline that Mad Science North West went on to sponsor the ‘Wall of Fame’ at the BIBAs 2014.
