“In the run up prior to the release of the entry forms there was a lot of discussion around the boardroom table with regards to what categories we should go for.
“Once the entry forms were released there was a flurry of enthusiasm as we targeted the categories we wanted to win.
“The entries were discussed at great length with buy in form all the parties involved.
“As the selection through to interview stage was announced the mood was focused on the next task in hand with the interview teams formed and a little healthy competition between them encouraged.
“The brain-storming session prior to interview brought the ideas to the forefront and the battle plans were drawn up.
“The company Twitter account was awash with #Bibas13 and the number of followers increased day by day.
“The first round of interviews were quite nerve racking as it had been a number of years since we had submitted an entry.
“Being interviewed by a number of local business peers known to you and each one of them successful in their own chosen field is bound to get the heart rate up.
“By the second round of interviews we had been selected to go through to the finals in all the categories we had applied for. The sense of achievement at this stage was euphoric with memo’s going out to all the staff telling them of this accomplishment.
“The glitz and glamour leading up to the event was fantastic but that was nothing compared to the night itself. We got a little caught up in it all and the party continued well in to the next morning.
“The event was fantastic and the fact we won made the night.
“The drinks event at Preston College gave us chance to catch up with fellow finalists and share stories of the events from the night.
“The accolade has been well received by all the staff. We have taken full advantage of what we do and have continued to market the fact.”
