Lancaster University Management School has signed up to become sponsor of one of the BIBAs’ newest award categories.
It will sponsor the Micro-Business of the Year category which is open to businesses employing up to 10 people.
Ellie Hamilton, associate dean for enterprise at the university, said the university was delighted to help celebrate the contribution of enterprising businesses.
She said: “Many awards over-look the contribution to our economies of these very small businesses, yet within such firms that you find the passion and creativity which is crucial to its success.
“We are delighted the BIBAs is recognising the contribution of such firms with this new category and we cannot wait to meet some of the applicants.”
