What are the judges looking for?
With the application deadline for the BIBAs 2019 now closed, we take a look at our 20 prize categories and give you an insight in to what our judges are looking for. Today, we look at the Third Sector Business of the Year category….
Open to social enterprises and not-for-profit businesses that can evidence innovation, growth potential with a robust plan for sustainable financial performance and clarity of vision.
The judging panel will be looking for evidence of:
- Fulfilment of social mission
- Impact on local groups / area
- Management and leadership
- Commitment of staff
- Use of corporate social responsibility to address challenges
The first round of judging for this category takes place on Monday, May 13 at the Blackpool offices of BIBAs organisers, the North & Western Lancashire Chamber of Commerce.
