Videoconferencing plans put on hold

The plans to use videoconferencing technology to undertake The BIBAs’ judging rounds have been put on hold.

The first round of judging and a judges’ training session had been scheduled to take place online with applicants, judges and tutors logging in from different locations.

A BIBAs spokesman said the technology may be employed when the judging gets underway in September.

They added: “Depending on the latest Government advice at the time, we will look at all options including using videoconferencing technology.”
