The dates for judging sessions for each of The BIBAs’ 20 prize categories are being drawn up by the awards’ organisers.
The face-to-face interviews with applicants are now scheduled to take place in September having been delayed due to the coronavirus outbreak.
Now the organisers are looking at when they can held in a way which will be safe for applicants and judges.
A spokesman said: “We had originally looked in to having our interviews held over videoconference technology and we still have that option, if it is necessary.
“Obviously we are doing all we can to stick to the health guidelines which we are all being given and we hope that this will mean that by the time we get to September we can get our judges together with applicants.”
The BIBAs has extended each interview to one hour to give applicants the opportunity to get across what is so special for their business.
