“Show me how you have been conquering the challenges”, that is the challenge which a Lancashire business leader has thrown out to applicants of The BIBAs.
Tammy Marlowe, Director of Building Careers UK, will be one of the judges in the Construction Business of the Year category which is one of 20 up for grabs at this year’s prize-giving.
She said: “I will be looking for the vision of what makes a construction business stand out against the other entrants in this category.
“I would love to know how they’ve been dealing with the challenges we know are in the sector, such as the current economic climate and the skills shortage.”
Asked what advice she would give to any applicant, she added: “First of all, be proud of your organisation, learn from the process and have fun.”
The first round of BIBAs judging gets underway on May 11. For full details, visit https://www.thebibas.co.uk/enter/important-dates.
