The judging session for The BIBAs will continue to maintain the rigour which have made the awards a hallmark of quality, its organisers have said.
Babs Murphy, Chief Executive of the North & Western Lancashire, said the awards’ winners would be decided by a face-to-face interview with a judging panel.
The planned second round of judging, The BIBAs On Tour which sees the awards send its judges to visit businesses, has been cancelled due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
Babs Murphy said: “The BIBAs On Tour has become a fixture of our awards which enables businesses to show what they are all about in their own premises, but obviously it is not going to be possible this year.
“Instead we are focused on ensuring we maintain the high standards which The BIBAs are synonymous for at our judge’s interviews, ensuring the very best of the best of Lancashire are among our winners.”
