The BIBAs will be putting its judging panels through some rigorous training to ensure they are ready to face its applicants.
The awards will be hosting the session at the Fylde Coast offices of the North & Western Lancashire Chamber of Commerce in Blackpool on April 21.
It will see judges given advice on the right questions to ask applicants to ensure they are getting the right information out of them to select their winner.
The judges will meet applicants for one of the BIBAs’ 20 prize categories for a face-to-face interview from May 11 as part of the first round of judging.
Having shortlisted their finalists, the judges will go ‘on tour’ to meet businesses across Lancashire as part of a unique second round of judging which gets started in June.
