One of The BIBAs’ judges has urged firms applying for the awards to be “honest and genuine” as they complete their applications for the awards.
Amanda Crossley, Director of Concierge Ninja, said her business specialised in high levels of customer and professional service which she would be looking for in the entries she will be judging.
She is one of a number of business leaders who have signed up to review the hundreds of applications which have already come into the awards.
Amanda said: “I’m looking at the people behind the business.
“The business itself needs to be viable and have room for growth, but I specialise in customer and professional services which is something I’ll be looking very closely at.
“Be honest and genuine. People buy from people, that includes your BIBAs application form.”
She said she hoped the judging would help her expand her own knowledge and support the growth of her business and give something back to the business community.
Amanda added: “Every day I see new businesses popping up creating products and services that I never knew existed and I think that is fascinating.
“To be able to hear from the owners about their backgrounds, why they do what they do and how they are trying to change how things are done is incredibly interesting.”
