All details submitted to The BIBAs will be treated with the strictest of confidence, the awards’ organisers have said.
The North & Western Lancashire Chamber of Commerce, which runs the annual awards for firms in the county, said that it had never disclosed details submitted in applications to any outside party.
A spokesman said: “The details which are included in our entrants’ applications are seen by a very limited group of people and, in particular, financial information provided will be treated in the strictest confidence.
“Following every awards we dispose of all information in a secure manner, so our applicants can be assured whatever they tell us will not go anywhere else.”
