Every week we will bring you the thoughts of a former winner of one of our awards about why they applied, what the application process did for them and what being a BIBAs winner means to them.
Here we hear from Phil Lawson, of Virtue Technologies, the winner of the Entrepreneur of the Year prize at the BIBAs 2015……
“We wanted to give everyone in the company a sense of achievement.
“To be part of something that is successful is a huge motivator for employees and having the judges come in to their environment and give them chance to talk about what they do in a huge part of the process.
“The whole company was part of a joint achievement, they are still talking about the BIBAs event and keep asking if we are entering next year.
“I would advise anyone looking to enter the BIBAs this year to pick the categories that are right for your business and where you have an interesting story to tell.”
