Every week we will bring you the thoughts of a former winner of one of our awards about why they applied, what the application process did for them and what being a BIBAs winner means to them.
Here, we hear from Ken Nolan, chairman of Springhill Care which won the Service Business of the Year at the BIBAs 2014….
“We were motivated to enter the BIBAs for the opportunity to open up our business to the judgment of a panel of esteemed business leaders.
“We expected to be challenged and to learn during the process and it forced us to step outside of our business and look in.
“It allowed us to be critical as well as recognising the success we had, something we are often too busy to do.
“This was what we hoped for and enjoyed throughout the process.”
