The BIBAs, Lancashire’s largest and most prestigious business awards, attract hundreds of entries each year from businesses of all sizes and sectors. With so many high-quality submissions, it can be difficult to stand out from the crowd. To help businesses put their best foot forward, here’s what the BIBAs judges will be looking for in the entries.
First and foremost, the judges will be looking for evidence of outstanding performance. This could include impressive revenue growth, high levels of customer satisfaction, or a significant increase in market share. Businesses that can demonstrate clear and measurable success in these areas are more likely to catch the judges’ attention.
In addition to financial success, the judges will also be looking for businesses that are innovative and creative. This could involve developing new products or services, adopting cutting-edge technology, or implementing unique and effective marketing strategies. Judges will be looking for businesses that have been able to differentiate themselves from their competitors and have a clear vision for the future.
The judges will also be assessing the impact that businesses have had on their local community. Victoria Pittman from Granby Marketing is judging the Innovative Business of the Year award, and told us: “I’m looking for businesses that provide a fresh and unique outlook to their service or product. The purpose behind the innovation is almost as important as the innovation itself, and this should also be heavily mentioned in the submissions. Make yours stand out!”
