The committee which selects the successful applicants for our BIBAs Foundation fund has held its inaugural meeting.
The group, chaired by defence firm BAE Systems which is official sponsor of the Foundation, included Ian Hall, the chairman of retail group James Hall and Sons and the current BIBAs Lancastrian of the Year.
The BIBAs Foundation, managed by the Community Foundation for Lancashire, has been created to develop an enterprising culture in the youth of Lancashire.
It hands out grants of up to £2,000 to support young people aged 16-24 and groups which support them to flourish, learn and develop business skills or knowledge; continue or expand their enterprising work; build their capacity for the future.
