What are the three main qualities you look for in any business/individual you visit as part of the BIBAs judging process?
- A clear vision of where the business is going;
- Confirmation that the staff are ‘on board’ with that vision;
- A plan of action to deliver that vision.
Without naming names, tell us about the one business or individual you were most impressed with during the BIBAs judging process and why?
The individual who had all his colleagues enthusiastically following him – officers and a crew that believed in the ability of their captain to steer the ship that was their high tech business for UK and export sales.
What would be the one piece of advice you would offer to any BIBAs applicant?
Make yourself stand out – inspire the judges, but show you have a reasoned plan to deliver.
