A host has been picked by organisers of one of Lancashire’s leading business awards to host its ceremony in September.
Babs Murphy, chief executive of the North and Western Lancashire Chamber of Commerce which organises the Be Inspired Business Awards, said the identity of its host would be kept under wraps until the big night at the Blackpool Tower.
She said: “All we can say is we are expecting some ‘diva fever’ at the BIBAs this year, which is hopefully enough to keep people guessing.
“It is always one of the best nights in the Lancashire business calendar, so people know they can always expect something special from the BIBAs.”
In 2014, the Global Chief Executive Officer of creative mega-brand, Saatchi and Saatchi, Kevin Roberts was host of the BIBAs with television presenter Eamonn Holmes presenting the prizes in 2013.
Nearly 90 members of Lancashire’s business community have signed up to pick the winners for one of the county’s leading awards.
Organisers of the Be Inspired Business Awards, the BIBAs, has confirmed it has 86 judges signed up to cover the 19 prizes it has on offer this year.
They will be given a special training session run by experts at Lancaster University Management School next month.
