THE BIBAs 2009

WHO’S ELIGIBLE?
Entrants must either be members of North and Western Lancashire Chamber of Commerce or businesses located within North and Western Lancashire.

HOW DO I ENTER?
To enter, you will need to complete an entry form relevant to the category you wish to enter.  The forms & criteria.

WHAT DO I NEED TO INCLUDE WITH MY ENTRY?
Each entry must be signed and dated and all accompanying documentation / completed questions must be submitted.

You may apply for as many categories as you wish.  In the event of multiple entries please ensure that you complete the relevant supplementary questions relating to your categorie(s).

More importantly, the judges may need documentary evidence – the facts & figures to back up your claims

Entries for some of the categories may benefit from additional information.  For example, if you are entering the BIBA for Marketing With Impact, feel free to include some promotional material.

WILL MY ENTRY BE RETURNED TO ME?
The BIBAs regret that entries are non-returnable, so please do not submit any original documentation that you may require in the future.  Clear photocopies are fine.

WILL ENTRIES BE TREATED CONFIDENTIALLY?
All entries and information submitted to the BIBAs are treated in the strictest of confidence.  Financial information is only seen by the professional judging panel.

WILL I ONLY BE CONSIDERED FOR THE CATEGORIES I SPECIFICALLY ENTER?
No, the judges retain the right to nominate you for additional categories that they deem appropriate.

IS THERE A FEE TO ENTER THE BIBAs?

No, entry is completely free of charge, no matter how many categories you enter

CAN I BOOK TICKETS TO ATTEND THE AWARDS?

ARE THERE ANY OBLIGATIONS FOR ME?

Just a couple, if your company is shortlisted, you will be asked to attend a brief interview lasting around thirty minutes with the category judges.

Also if you are one of the finalists you must commit to attend the BIBAs ceremony on March 6th 2009.

The judging panel for each award will be made up of one Chamber representative, a representative of the sponsoring organisation and a representative of the Associate Sponsors and Principal Sponsors will also be invited to attend.

The representative of the category sponsor will be the chair of the judging panel and will have the final decision.  The decision of the judge(s) is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
