As Lancashire’s longest-standing business awards, the BIBAs has been delivering benefits to firms and individuals across the county since 2008, and every week we will hear from a former winner about how it has helped them.
Every week we will bring you the thoughts of a former winner of one of our awards about why they applied, what the application process did for them and what being a BIBAs winner means to them.
Here Andrew Spratt, from Physiofusion, which picked up the Professional Services Business of the Year at the BIBAs 2015, tells us his firm’s story…
“It was a great opportunity to look into all of our business processes – the areas we have been successful in, areas that need improving and areas that we don’t yet cover but will look to introduce in the future.
“To do something like this is extremely important in any business and we thought that it was a great opportunity to do this, with the added bonus of being nominated for a prestigious award if everything went well.
“The whole process very much matched up to our expectations as we were expecting everything to be extremely thorough and in depth.
“Winning the award exceeded our expectations and all the publicity that came afterwards.
“Being named in a category that is dominated larger business, it was great to be named alongside those.
“It was a great feeling to be named as a winner in a room filled with so many successful and influential businesses.”
