Now the BIBAs 2016 application window has closed, we have asked some of our former winners to provide their top tips to applicants preparing to face the panels at the awards’ interview stage.
Each week we will bring you a top tip from each of our former winners, here Janet Thornton, founder of Inspired Energy, gives her advice to those entering the awards.
Janet won the Business Woman of the Year award at the BIBAs 2014.
“Be yourself. If you’ve been successful enough to be shortlisted and get to the judging stage, you’ve obviously shown that your business stands out from your competitors and that is only down to the hard work that you have demonstrated.
“Therefore, there’s no requirement to act differently.”
