Every week we will bring you the thoughts of a former winner of one of our awards about why they applied, what the application process did for them and what being a BIBAs winner means to them.
Here we hear from Louise Wilkinson, of Lomeshaye Village Day Nursery, the winner of the Business Woman of the Year prize at the BIBAs 2015……
“I applied for the award for recognition of both of my businesses and the work we put in to have two successful businesses running side by side.
“The interview process was a reflective piece of work and gave us the opportunity to look at your work and the effect you have on others and the service we provide.
“The visit to the business was reflective and nice to have a chance to show what you are actually talking about and receive positive feedback.
“I would encourage anyone to enter these awards; the whole process is a truly unique experience and overwhelming to win – it is like most things, you get out what you put in.”
