BIBAs background

The merger in 2007 of Lancashire’s two premier business awards competitions created the county’s most prestigious event to showcase the significant achievements of the Lancashire Business Community.

Business Link Lancashire merged its BIBAs (Be Inspired Business Awards) with the North & Western Lancashire Chamber of Commerce’s Outstanding Business Achievement Awards in a move that saw the largest and most high profile business event ever held in Lancashire.

The 2007 awards ceremony was attended by over 650 representatives from local businesses alongside key dignitaries from across the county.

Put simply, The BIBA's are now the county's premier business competition. Year on year a record number of entries have signified the BIBA's as "the one they want to win" with winners becoming proud recipients of a handcrafted limited edition trophy specially designed by world famous sculptor – Charles Hadcock.
